Tamari-Ginger Stirfry w/Tofu and Veggies


1 onion, chopped
1 stalk broccoli, cut into florets
1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
2 large carrots, cut into rounds
200 grams firm tofu, diced (1/2 pkg)
2 tbsp. ginger, minced
2 tbsp. garlic, minced (2 cloves)
6 tbsp. tamari
2 cups water
3 tbsp. corn starch
1 cup brown rice, long-grain
dash hot sauce


  1. Cook rice according to directions on package.
  2. Sautee onions and tofu in olive oil for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add carrots and a few tbsp. of water, adding more water as needed, over high med-high heat for 7-10 mins.
  4. Add in cauliflower and broccoli and continue cooking for another 7-10 mins.
  5. Meanwhile, mix together water, corn starch, tamari, garlic and ginger in a small bowl.
  6. Pour sauce over stir-fry, stir in, and cook until thickened. Serve over rice.

Servings: 4

Approximately 350 calories and 4.2 grams of fat per serving.
